GOAT LEATHER
The goat leather is used for nearly every glove which needs to be very robust and tear resistant. It can be used as shell material on the backhand or in the palm as well as reinforcement. The resistant leather not only suits for gloves for the military, police and authorities and special forces but also for ski and mountaineering gloves. Fine pored and soft goat leather can also be used for classy, beautiful leather gloves for the daily use.

For really good glove leather the skins are dyed pure anilin. This means the skin gets dyed in barrels. Due to this dying process the leather becomes highly breathable, smooth and very soft. There is also the possibility to dye leather semi-anilin (the surface will be covered with colour after dying in barrels) or to cover the leather (the leather is not dyed in barrels, the colour will be sprayed on the skins).

Digital leather
Digital leather is also goat leather which is digitally embossed. This gives the leather a nice look and a special grip.

GORE-TEX INFINIUM

The special GORE-TEX Technology is 100% windproof and nevertheless highly breathable. The thin protective layer is directly integrated and prevents against wind. TOUCH TECHNOLOGY
The smartphone is for many people an indispensable companion – even for sports and your job by now. To avoid annoying putting on and pulling off of the glove while using your smartphone or other touchscreen devices, some gloves are equipped with the touch technology. There are different possibilities to ensure the touch compatibility.

To make a glove a touch compatible glove the surface of the different materials will be specially coated. Most of the time the print, the touch thread or a piece of touch compatible material is placed on the fingertips or on the thumb. For gloves which require a special grip or tactility the whole palm is made of touch leather or touch Amara. If you just sew a piece of the material on it, the seams would restrict the tactile requirements.

To guarantee an unlimited function of the touch technology, the glove needs to fitx exactly and should not be too big on the fingertips.

ERGONOMIC 3D CUT
In 1989 we started developing a new 3D cutting technology and revolutionized the market worldwide with the perfect fit, especially in the fire service. The gloves are all anatomically pre-curved (tailored to natural hand positions), cut and processed.

The palm and backhand of the glove are displaced to get a slightly curve inside. Thereby you can reach highest wearing comfort and maximum dexterity. Gloves with a normal “gun cut” still exist – that’s a normal, one dimensional fit.

LAVALAN®
Synthetic materials are often used for glove insulations, but this is not the case for the Lavalan® insulation. The filling is made of renewable and 100% natural resources, namely real sheep wool. Even the binder is a natural product – it’s cornstarch.

Wool is with its numerous characteristics a natural “high-tech” fiber. It ensures comfortable warmth, is fast drying, breathable and water-resistant. Another nice feature is that wool is odour-neutralising and prevents the formation of bacteria. So to say a real natural talent.

The wool is sourced after the highest quality and animal welfare standards and exclusively originate from European countries, like Austria, Switzerland, France, Germany and Scandinavia. It is clear, that the animals are not tortured neither during breeding nor the shearing process – European wool is mulesing-free.

The shorn wool can be delivered by the the sheep farmers to collection points. In the United Kingdome and in Belgium the wool will be scoured and the german company Baur Vliesstoffe manufactures the Lavalan® Insulation. An independent Swiss company certifies the supply chain; thus the origin of the wool can be proved.

SK LIGHT WOOL
Wool is a natural hightech fiber. For the light and thin SK Light Wool lining sheep wool is spun with synthetic fibers to guarantee a comfortable wearing feeling in the glove. The sheep wool fibers absorb less moisture and dry faster compared to synthetic fibers. Due to its special thermic characteristics the lining gives optimal warmth at light weight.
