Good to know:
The higher the G-value, the harder the deceleration and the greater the strain on the pilot’s body.
The EN test for paragliding harnesses (EN 1651 / LTF) is carried out with a 100 kg test mass dropped from a height of 1.0 m onto a rigid impact surface. The maximum permitted limit for protector certification is 50 g!
