With the Wanì 4, Woody Valley continues the targeted development of its proven reversible harness. The basic concept of the Wanì 3 remains unchanged: a comfortable all-round reversible harness with seat board, self-inflating spring airbag, T-Lock system and integrated backpack concept. The main changes concern flight behaviour, the backpack, the reserve container and various detail improvements.
New geometry – greater stability in flight
One of the most important new features is the revised geometry. Woody Valley specifically highlights the improved stability of the Wanì 4, resulting in calmer and more stable flight behaviour. The easy and straightforward handling remains unchanged. The basic dimensions and the size range from S to XL also remain the same.
Proven self-inflating airbag remains
For the protector, Woody Valley continues to rely on the self-inflating spring airbag system already known from the Wanì 3. The airbag inflates independently of airflow and therefore already reaches its intended volume before take-off. The G-values remain excellent, as before. The optional Lightshield back protector also remains available.
Revised reserve container
The volume of the reserve container on the Wanì 4 has been extended to a range of 3.0 to 5.6 litres. This allows the container to accommodate a wider range of packing volumes, which is particularly beneficial for smaller reserve systems. The position of the deployment handle remains unchanged. However, the handle has been redesigned and now follows the design used on other models.
The backpack concept has been significantly revised. On the Wanì 3, the backpack was part of the reversible system and featured, among other things, a removable hip belt. On the Wanì 4, the entire backpack is now removable and is available in four sizes matched to the respective harness size.
This makes the system more modular, and the backpack can be replaced or handled separately more easily when required. A new compression system, preparation for hydration bladder, hip-belt pockets and additional storage space further underline the high level of practicality of the reversible system.
Equipment and details
In addition, the Wanì 4 now features side zip pockets made from durable fabric, more comfortable ergonomic shoulder straps, high-quality Ronstan speedbar pulleys, a small rear pocket for a wallet and mobile phone, and much more.
The Wanì 4 is therefore less of a completely new product and more of a consistent evolution of an already proven harness for students, progressing pilots and pilots who deliberately choose a comfortable and uncomplicated harness.
